So my boyfriend and I were going to start a cleanse… We both really need it and went grocery shopping Friday night. Saturday was “the day”, we were eating vegetables and some fruit, and water…that’s it…by 3pm I was so angry and starving and he wasn’t doing too well either. We both decided this was far too drastic. WTF were we thinking!!???!!?? We agreed on a more balanced lifestyle and we would continue to do it together.
Moral of the story, if you are changing your eating habits DON’T GO DRASTIC! You will most likely be so miserable that you won’t stick with it. Start small. Cutting out fast food and soda for us is HUGE without much sacrifice! (and think of the $$ we’ll save!) We have 6 kids between us. Switching out wheat bread instead of white, exchange 1 or 2 of the sweet snacks we buy for popcorn, no soda options, more natural juices, more salad, they will eat it! You just have to provide it! Don’t get me wrong, I don’t really have a problem with our kids eating sweets, I’m not that crazy with it. But, the healthy options should out-number the sweet options.
Trust me, our angry and hungry versions of ourselves are no good!

I’m so glad I tried more than one flavor, because what I thought I would love (chocolate), I ended up hating and now love a flavor that I NEVER would have guessed (strawberry!)! I’ve done a TON of research on this superfood shake and it meets all of my needs!!
I understand that it’s hard to figure out what’s good and what’s not anymore with how our world is because EVERYTHING you read contradicts itself . Marketing is out to get you, food labels are confusing, and as consumers we are left with a crazy amount of choices. So I’ve decided to run a 6 day group where you get to try it out and see if it’s something you want to invest in as well as answer all of those questions and more in just 6 days.
