A simple way to break a bad habit…
As I am embarking on a new chapter in my life with health and fitness (or revisiting this chapter I should say), this was a very eye-opening TED talk for me that I wanted to share with you!
Judson Brewer talks about meditation and being more mindful of your bad habit moments. He talks about moving from just basic knowledge to actual wisdom! Being more mindful of our bad habits allows us to be closer with what is actually happening in our bodies, allowing us to see what we’re really getting from these bad habits.
Bad habits can be anything from over eating, under eating, smoking, texting while driving, constantly checking our phones while we’re in the middle of spending time with a loved one, anything that we feel guilty about afterwards. What are your bad habits?
