This girl is brilliant!! At 13 she convinced Hasbro to change one of their famous toy products to include boys, the easy-bake-oven! She is the perfect example that children KNOW what messages are being relayed to them through companies. She realized at a young age that Hasbro, while using girls for their commercials and packaging, using “girly” colors for their products, that they were targeting girls for this product… meaning girls are supposed to be the ones in the kitchen… ah-ha! The most important point is that just because a great idea comes from a child, doesn’t mean it can’t happen or that it shouldn’t be fought for!
